The graphics are very nice, the controls for hitting full shots are easy to use, the cost was only 6.99 plus shipping, you can choose many characters to play, and there are a good selection of courses to play. The main drawback to this game is with chipping and putting. It is hard to read the break and speed of the greens when you putt and it is diffucult to get a feel for chipping. I am not familiar with other games out there, but overall, it is a fun game to play for the price.
One of the BEST PC golf games of all-time, alongside the 2001 version!

An older game, but a good one! This was thing game to play all before the golden tee games where all the rage... A great way to check out courses the public will never golf. Also a great way to see what clubs hit what distance and lie and what not. Great game!
The game plays very good. I was impressed with the graphics and detail. I really liked the on screen help available. It had been some time since I was a Links addict, but I think I'm going to be right back in the groove real fast. All in all the game is everything I was hoping it would be.
A great simulation game, much like the actual game of golf. Very frustrating, and scores being subject to lack of concentration and lack of coordination... just like real golf. Its a great way to play a round without getting outside in the cold, or into 100+ degree weather, as is here in Texas.
